St Mary’s Basilica in Gdansk

By Aidan Webster

During a trip to Gdansk in Winter, we visited the Old Town. No matter where we were, we could see St Mary's Church topping the sky line. It is apparently the largest place of worship in Europe and is known as the "crown of Gdansk". It can hold up to 25,000. Been able to see the church from wherever you were in the Old Town brought comfort and reassurance that support was always near by and that faith is always present in the community.
