'A Day of Prayer in Belfast'

By John Hutton

A large wooden cross was erected outside St Anne's Cathedral Belfast for a Day of Prayer on 17th September 2016. People were encouraged to come as individuals before god to lay down their own personal burdens from the past. To forgive those that hurt them, to say sorry where they may have hurt others, to receive healing and to pray for the future of Northern Ireland. Brother Jardine, Dean of St Anne's is with a young father and his son as they pray silently at the foot of the cross.
